When you fail to plan, you plan to fail...unless you have enough shot glasses!

Okay, so that's not really the saying but it worked for me when I didn't look ahead at the science experiment the twins had to do.

Maybe a better way to state it is "When you fail to plan, you get creative"

I didn't have the test tubes for the experiment so I had to improvise. After thinking about using other things around the house, I landed on shot glasses since their size was small and you could see through them.

We're not "shot" type people but have collected these "
science tools" from attending weddings or as a souvenir from a place we've traveled to.

It worked well, they served their purpose, and the twins learned about the Blood-Brain Barrier in a fun new way.
