I'm two months along and loveing it. I feel pretty good for being pregnant with twins. I'm very thankful for my health and very happy that being off all my meds I was on is okay for my body. I haven't had any issues with headaches or anxiety. This makes things a lot better too. I just love being pregnant but I can't wait until it's over.
I'm so happy.
What I need to know is what I can borrow from people. With two on the way the costs have doubled and I need to get it down a bit. But I do know that God will provide because otherwise he would not have given us two babies.
God is Great!!

So is it ok to say to you that God never gives us more than we can handle? I thought about saying that shortly after you found out about the twins but figured you may not be ready to hear that quite yet. :)

Saying that God never gives us more than we can handle or that "he will provide" is silly. Number of living people currently living expected to die from starvation: 900 million.

That said, I'm sure that you can handle things just fine.

what? Just pointing out that it is silly when people say such things. Another great example is when people pray for them to help their team win while at the same time the other team is praying for the same thing.

Well, if the church and God's people would get out there and be God's hands and feet, maybe there wouldn't be so many people dying from starvation.

Some of these people choose to starve because they choose not to eat the animals God PROVIDED for them. God gave us free will and it is our choices that cause the problem, not God.

If we are under God's protection and making the right choices, He will provide. If we step outside of His will and outside of that protection, then suffering comes. That's why people need to witness to the poor and tell them about God's love for them so they can make right choices.

Now on the other hand, you might wonder about the little kids who aren't able to make those choices. Unfortunately, those precious little kids have to pay for the sins and the choices of those caring for them.

God's heart breaks for the poor and the oppressed. He LOVES them.

Sarah will handle things just fine because of the strength that God provides for her.

I am going to start by saying that I don't mean any of the maliciously or personally, I just like to debate and find myself disagreeing with much. So with no further adieu.

First, no one chooses to starve(except when on hunger strike). What animals are you even talking about? Cows?

Second, you're implying that only non-believers die from starvation? This is far from true and you would be hard pressed to convince anyone otherwise.

Trying to link suffering with beleiving or non-beleiving does not follow any doctrine. Bad things happen to everyone regardless (The Fall).

Most would wisely just say something like, a beleiver's prosperity will be in heaven. This leaves room for the suffering and starvation that DOES, infact, go on in this messed up world regardless of religion.

God does not promise to "protect us" if we follow him. His only promise is eternal life in Heaven. You seem to be stuck on this medieval idea of: I do bad, bad thing happens. I do good, good happens. Talk to your pastor or read one of the thousands of books like "why do bad things happen to good people".

Suffering is a result of The Fall----> Jesus is the portal to avoid all suffering IN HEAVEN. This is the Christain gospel in a nutshell.

Looking for promises that don't exist is one of the reasons why many people turn away from God when shit happens. They can't explain the bad circumstances with their dogma and become angry at God for letting it all happen to them.
