Seth and I had a great couple of days with him off work. Although it was an emotional time we still spent time just being around each other, enjoying each others company, and getting some things done before the baby comes.
First, we had a doctors appt on Thursday morning. It went well, of course. It was short and to the point. I now start my two week appts which is exciting for me because that tells me I'm so close to the end. Everything has been going real well with the pregnancy (besides some hard core kicking). I thought after routine ultrasounds that I would be a basket-case, but I'm not, I'm actually quite comfortable (if you don't count when I try to sleep).
Second, Seth received his birthday money from my parents this week and on Thursday he purchased Super Mario Galaxy. It's a fun game, and way different than any Mario I've played. Seth see resemblance to Mario 64, but I've only played that once and didn't have a ton of fun. Galaxy is a lot of fun.
Third, we talked about what needs to be done in the basement. We went and looked at some carpet and now we're trying to decide what we're going to do and how we can do this in the most cost-effective way. We decided not to buy paint and we'll probably just paint the one bedroom the color of our living/dining/kitchen area. We have so much of that left and it will look really nice down there too! But, to start all that, we must finish the drywall procedure first...yuck. Thanks Dad V for doing the mudding and taping! Dad B, you'll help with the painting right????
Well I think that's all for the past couple days. I enjoyed spending time with Seth and not having to rush around and do a whole ton of things. I enjoyed it, even though I was helping guide him through Mario Galaxy.
One last thing, Happy Anniversary to Mark and Brooke!!! Glad you guys were able to get out and enjoy time together!!
