Another Interesting Visit

My visit to the doctor was not what I expected. First, he was very backed up for just opening. That's okay though because that's the first time I've actually had to wait that long, which is a good thing with doctors. When I got back into the room the nurse took the baby's heart beat which came out to 160. The doctor then came in and talked to me a bit and scheduled me to have a non-stress test done (because the heart rate was a bit high for him) at 11:15 am. My mom and I went to get something to eat real quick (I had a bowl of fruit!) and then went back to the Doctor. I didn't get called back until almost 12 noon for the test and was on the monitor for 40 minutes. The test came out fine though and the baby is doing great! So now I'm home, I've taken a nap, we're getting a meal delivered today, and that's all!!
We are 2 weeks away from having a baby, almost to the minute!!!

Hey Sarah! I'm privileged to make the 1st comment today. So glad your appt went well. The baby's heart rate at 160 isn't that high for a girl is it? So I'm guessing your precious baby is a boy. Can't wait till we all know! Just try to relax and enjoy these last quiet days with just you and Seth. Once that baby comes home life will never be the same. Get as much sleep as you can now! What an exciting time for you and Seth. We'll be waiting to hear.

Yes, ditto. I was thinking the same thing about the gender of the baby. Am I going to have another nephew?! Hope the last 2 weeks of your pregnancy are relaxing!

We were thinking of you and Seth a lot. We took Josiah and Eli to the Zeeland MacDonalds with the huge play area. Someone told mom to give it a try. It was great for Josiah. He took awhile to get over the height fear but it was great!!! Hope to see you soon.
