Absentmindedness

I must apologize for being absentminded. In the midst of all the tiredness and trying to figure out how to balance life again I forgot to say:

HAPPY BIRTHDAY JOHN!!

Hope you had a great birthday, the cake sure looked good.

In other thoughts:

Today would have been the scheduled c-section. I'm quite happy, for many reasons, that Peter came early and so healthy. The first being that if we would have waited until today to have him he would have been pretty close to 10 lbs. Second, I didn't have time to worry, anticipate, think to deeply, whatever you want to call it, about the c-section. It would have caused unwanted stress so I'm glad it happened spontaniously. Third, today I feel great! Instead of the pain just starting I'm almost quite over the majority of it!
