Peter went to his first parade today! I didn't take any pictures but it wasn't that exciting anyway. Very short and without any noise but the band (which Peter seemed to enjoy!) . Yeah, no sirens were blown or horns honked, just firetrucks driving down the center of the road with people waving at them! Ah well, at least the 4th of July Parade will be fun! We'll be walking in that one with Peter behind the Bergy float! YEAH!!
I put some flowers out by the boys grave yesterday and today we stood by the grave while the cemetary ceremony was going on. It was a nice ceremony and Peter didn't even cry when the gun salute went off! This was the first time Peter has been to his brothers' grave. It was nice to be there and I was planning other ways of getting flower arrangements done by the grave.
