Okay...so I haven't posted in a while because we have been so sick around here. I ended up with a second sinus infection and it moved to my ear. I'm on my second antibiotic (the first one I reacted to). I'm feeling like I'm turning around here after two and a half to three weeks of just feeling yucky! I have some time now though as I sit up waiting for my oven to cool so I can wipe it down. Tonight was the first night I used the self-cleaning (reason to be explained later) and I started it quite late. It made the house stinky though.
Alright, so what have we been up to?
I'll just go down the list:
Seth has been working hard, as usual. He started a new project...the basement. We went on a date the last Friday of February (my parents took Peter for the night) and purchased carpet. Seth then, the next week, bought the base and casing trim. We realize it's still a while for it all to come together due to making our money spread these days, but at least we're getting there!
I, Sarah, was able to stain all the base and casing trim this past Friday! My back hurt a little after, but it was sweet time to myself. I could just gather my thoughts, relax, pray, whatever I wanted to do (while staining of course!). I'm also loving my bible study right now! What a blessing and an eye-opener to being a woman of God, and wife, and a mother! I love how I have discovered how God has chosen to use me!
Peter, has been a busy boy! I think even busier than Seth and I. After getting over his cold/ear infection he was able to spend the night with my parents (as I said in Seth's info). My mom came to pick him up (he always wants to go with her when she picks Ashley up after school, so this was a great way to start his night at Grandpa and Grandma's). He got to play, have dinner, and play more. My mom said he was so tuckered out at the end of the night he went right to bed and just slept. (it's not difficult to put him down, but we were unsure of how he would sleep in a different place). Peter also got to play in Nursery on Sunday and Tuesday (during my Bible Study), and THEN he went to my parents again this past Friday! This was a nice sporadic moment. My mom came to pick up Ashley, we were outside, he pointed to the car door, he went and ate with them again! (this is when I was able to stain the boards!). He's also teething, I think. His nights have been rough and so have his naps. I gave him Motrin before bed tonight, hopefully he'll sleep all night tonight, in his OWN BED!
That about covers it! Oh, one more thing, Peter threw his first temper tantrum! I had all I could do not to laugh! Next time you talk to me I can tell you more!
Well, I have to go check on my oven! Now that I'm feeling better I might be able to update more!
