The weekend was great. There was a lot going on and we enjoyed every moment of it.
Our weekend started on Thursday (Seth's only day off this weekend). We were outside...a lot! It was great weather and Peter enjoyed playing with Seth and helping him with various chores around the yard!
Friday we enjoyed the company of Ashley. (She couldn't go on the class trip b/c of an injury). Again, a lot of outside time. We also got 4 1/2 tons of stones delivered for landscaping! Peter liked the big truck until the rocks were dumped. He still gets scared of loud noises (and it was plenty loud.) He was trembling! Our friend Eric came over and made some excellent burritos and we played Agricola!
Saturday, Peter and I went to Lori's for a the afternoon. We had planned a picnic which was ruined by rain...but we still had a great time and Peter only got a 1/2 hour nap that day! Lori then brought us back to Dad and Mom's where we celebrated Dad's birthday (finally)!
Sunday, Dad and Mom V came over. After eating a late lunch we took a walk (which was Peter's first without the stroller. I only had to carry him the last 200 yards or so. We played outside, again. When Seth returned home from work, Peter helped him landscape some of the rocks. Peter tried to push the wheelbarrow (full of stones), I wish I would have had my camera!
Funny story about the camera, Peter was playing with it at Lori's and left it in her pots and pans cupboard! We forgot to retrieve it before we left her house!
Also, it great news, we got a GPS! Love it! Just figured out last night how to get the WMA files converted to MP3 without purchasing a program!
This weekend was a lot of fun and I'm looking forward to Seth's day off tomorrow when we do more landscaping, including planting some hostas and other various flowers! YEAH!
Pics will come when I get my camera back of the landscaping!
