Still without internet service. At&t is not making me a very satisfied customer. Here's the rundown:
April 26 - I order Internet and Phone service
May 4 - Tech comes to house to hook up the house to the pole (did nothing inside to give me phone service)
May 5 - Call to ask why I have static on the line and was informed that they never connected it in the home office. Said the problem would be solved in 2 hours. Asked about my DSL order and was informed it could not be processed until I had a working phone line. Was told it would be ordered that evening or the next morning and would receive a phone call letting me know the order went through. Was promised service by Friday, May 8.
May 8 - No phone call received so I called them and they informed me it was just ordered and I was promised service by May 14.
May 15 - Called to check on DSL status and was informed there was an issue at the terminal and they were unsure of when I would actually receive DSL in my home.
I'm very frustrated. I'm very angry. And I'm a very UNsatisfied customer.
If I don't get answers monday, I will pull my service or ask for a very large discount!
I understand technology can fail. But I was promised too much, too quickly. I also was promised phone calls back and never received any. URG!!
I'll keep you posted, if I EVER get internet!
