Tangy Slow Cooker Pork Roast
(from allrecipes.com)
1 Large Onion, Sliced
2 - 2.5 lb Pork Roast (I used Pork Loin Serloin Roast)
1 c. hot water
1/4 c. white sugar
2 t. soy sauce (I didn't have soy so I used teriyaki)
1 t. ketchup
1/2 t. black pepper and salt (each)
1/4 t. garlic powder
Place the slices of onion on bottom of slow cooker. Place pork roast on top of onion.
Mix together the rest of the ingredients in a small bowl. Pour over roast.
Slow cook on low for 6-8 hours.
I basted my roast every 2 hours or so with the liquid in the bottom.
