Yesterday was my turn over date to 27 weeks! 28 weeks will be a fantastic landmark for us next week, but I have some time today to post (being home alone and Peter being away at my cousins house...Thanks Michelle!).
I've been doing really well with everything. I have braxton hicks contractions everyday but not frequently enough to alarm. I've only had to call the doctor a couple times with concerns and have still only had one ER visit! We are very excited about reaching these landmarks each week, as each week is so important for the babies' growth and development! I have another ultrasound next week accompanied by a visit with doc.
I enjoy these visits; they help to get me out of the house. I don't remember getting out this week at all, besides stepping on the porch or deck to feel the nice fall weather slap me in the face! I enjoy it getting cooler though, it helps with my problem of feeling overheated! I'm also enjoying watching the leaves change color behind the house and soon will be able to see my parents house once again.
As far as the organizing goes, I've done a lot of that with the baby clothes. Still, I'm a few, okay, a lot of outfits short for the girl and have way too many boy outfits (5 costco diaper boxes full from 0-18 months). While Seth was home last week we got a lot of sorting done and arranged the baby room so that 2 cribs, a twin bed, and a dresser fit in that room. The dresser ended up in the closet.
Peter has been sleeping well on the twin bed, although he tends to still wake up at night and fuss a bit he's much happier and Seth and I receive much more sleep with him not in our bed! Especially since my belly is growing at the rate of, oh...let's say, a baby whale! I found my string that they measured me with at Peter's baby shower (when I was around 35 weeks preggo with him) and the ends don't touch which means I'm measuring about full-term, if not more, for a singleton pregnancy.
Only 10 weeks left until they'll do a c-section around Dec. 9. It's funny to think that I, I mean WE, get to pick the babies' birthday's. Hopefully Dec 9 works because that's what I would like, right on 37 weeks, it's stuck in my head!
If I keep writing I won't have any updates for later on!
Until I blog again...have a safe and fun Fall!
