Peter had his 2 year well check today! He did great...except for the part about wanting the nurse to take his stats. But we got them, after much crying and screaming. He's never been like that before with Jess (the nurse) but, whatever. No shots today, either, so it was a great day!
The stats on Peter are: 37 1/2 inches and 33 lbs. He's above the 97th% for height, which basically means he's off the charts! He's 95th% for weight. His BMI is 60% (which is a little high but nothing to worry about because he is so tall!)
It was Peter's special day today. Which means it was his time to spend with Seth and I. After his appt. we went to Target and shopped while Peter ate a pretzel in the cart! We also got him McDonald's for lunch (but we brought that home). Then this evening we played Farkle. Of course he doesn't understand the game but it's fun to shake dice and roll them as far as you can across any surface!
One thing that we were worried about was Peter's speech. He doesn't say much. He tries to say words, they just don't come out anything like the word. He can only say a few words semi-correctly (10 or less), where he should be saying 50 or more. The doctor asked us to have him evaluated at the public school to see if he just needs some help getting started. Hopefully that's all it is.
