For the past 3 months and 2 weeks (or so), Aaron and Abigail have been sleeping in their bouncer seats. I could ease their reflux by allowing this, which made for easier nights on me. Over the past 2 weeks I've been trying to get them in their pack'n'plays in hopes of getting them in their cribs by 6 months. Aaron has proven once again that he will be the difficult child. Abigail has slowly eased into sleeping in the pack'n'play half the night and her seat the other half. Last night, we turned a corner, I hope! Abigail slept in the pack'n'play for 8 hours.
Which brings me to the other wonderful thing! They are sleeping 8 hours at night now! Sometimes it is still 6 hours, but more 8 hour nights than 6! Everyone said I'd make it through. Although it was hard to see, even just 3 weeks ago, I can now say I see what everyone was talking about...partially because my eyes are more open due to more sleep at night!! LOL!
Today I will try to have them take a nap in their crib. This has failed in the past because Peter feels the need to check on them every couple minutes...maybe today I can have a little more success.
