I have only gone on spring break once in my life. My senior year in college my hubby and I went to San Diego, CA to visit his brother! I don't remember doing anything memorable during my spring breaks—sorry mom, i know you tried. I don't anticipate taking my children on spring break either, when they get old enough! But I will try my best—just as my wonderful mother did—to make my kids spring breaks special!
Yesterday my mom took my niece, my sister, my 3 young ones, and me out to lunch, to the NEW local library(!) and back to the house for a craft. I planned on doing something great but the stores in this small town don't have card stock (!?). Anyway, we settled on this craft.
What a great time we had, even if it will only be remembered in pictures!
Working hard on the masks!
Waiting for the glue to dry on the ears and the craft sticks!
Our precious Easter bunnies!
Talking on the phone while playing McDonald's! A favorite activity in grandpa and grandma's basement!
The smile I saw ALL. DAY. LONG!!!
