I have been struggling with regularly-occuring headaches for just about a month now. They come, they go, they come back...and nothing seems to ease the pain.
I'm a migraine sufferer. I'm a sinus headache victim. I'm an easy target for tension headaches.
I take Advil, then Tylenol, then advil...and so on. I use Fioricet, a wonderful drug, but it doesn't work every time (like today).
Most the time I'm clueless as to whether it's sinus or tension — sometimes I believe it's both. Either way, they cause outcomes that are unpleasant.
On a day with one of these awful headaches I can't seem to function normally. I miss out on things—todays it's Claudia's Graduation :*(
My symptoms include but are not limited to:
•Light sensitivity
•sound sensitivity—which is excruciating with 3 active children
•pain in my eyes, forehead, and temples
•pain that radiates down my neck into my shoulders, through my back and into my leg.
These headaches restrict my lifestyle and steal the joy of everyday activities with my kids. They keep me in bed and cause a short fuse in me.
On Wednesday I will be getting a second opinion from a new doctor in town. I pray this opens up a new way of going about attacking the enemy (headaches). I hope there will be answers...SOON!!!
I will update later and let you know how I like my "second opinion doc".
Until then I will lay low and try and get the things done I need to. Today, that is focusing on getting to Claudia's party this evening.

Praying for you. Have you ever thought about seeing a holistic doctor? I'm doing a lot of research and looking into more holistic treatments for allergies, headaches and such. I have a friend who is really into it and is going to print out some stuff for me.
On a positive note, I got some really good pictures of Claudia graduating... I hope you enjoy them - and her party tonight. :)
