There are many crib refashions on pinterest.
Since I had two drop sides that were given to me, and since no one wants drop sides anymore because the the risks they cause, I thought "how wonderful for me! Now I have free things to repurpose."
So this is what I did first!
Taking the side of one crib I took the hardware off, washed, sanded and washed again. Found a fantastic, bold, 'not so me but I really want to try it' yellow and spray painted to my hearts content. Then I went and bought a second can of that same yellow and sprayed again...because I ran out!
My plans for this is a decor piece for my front porch. It will sit against the house and be decorated for various seasons and holidays! Right now it sits there with a blue chair in front of it.
I love how it pops and adds character to my porch. It looks a lot better than the plastic dog house we were forced to buy a year and a half ago!
