My hubby's awesome friend Eric met this awesome girl Malorie and yesterday they GOT MARRIED!! We are so happy for them and wish them many blessings in their marriage!
We gave them their gift early because it is fragile and partly because we wanted to see their reaction. So in Eric's Parent's garage they opened this handmade gift from us (my hubby's craftsmanship)!!
My husband made the mirror part and allowed me to burn the name and year year!I almost peed my pants was more than excited when he said I could do that! I went right into Pinterest mind without even thinking and said "I saw on Pinterest that if you print the name out and scribble with pencil really well on the back and then use a pen top to trace the name really hard the pencil will transfer to the wood (or any object you are transferring to)." (referencing the top photo)
The bottom picture here is one of me working on it! It was great fun to do this! I'm so glad that hubby thought of this! Yes, he thought of all of it! The only contribution from me was burning the name in and adding "est. 2012", because it's a very popular thing right now!
