52 Weeks :: Week 39

I am so behind in my posting. I hope to catch up over the weekend. Life has been busy and crazy and fun and exciting and, did I say busy?

With winter right around the corner, and Michigan nights reminding me it's right around the corner, I've been looking for some winter gear! My boots I bought last year only got used a handful of times due to a very mild winter in Michigan. (I'm afraid to think what punch winter is going to throw us this year after our very unusually hot summer!)

I decided I need a scarf, or two, or three!! They can be so expensive in store. Pinterest makes it easy, though, and so does the fact I have saved all of hubby's old t-shirts! Let's see what I put together, shall we??!!

The top one I will be re-doing. It was a little short. I will probably sew two of them together so that it hangs longer and is less bushy.
The second scarf was way too long so I doubled up on it!
The third was the simplest and I love it!

The size/length of the last two scarves can be determined by the size t-shirt you use.
The top one is dependent on how big you make the circles and how small you cut the spiral.

This will all make more sense when you visit the video tutorial from the link below!

I think it took me less than an hour to do all three!! Fun, Fast, and Fashionable -- LOVE!
