I've been saving up TP rolls all summer in hopes of doing many crafts with the kids. Since they were just collecting and not actually being used I decided to donate some to the twins Story Hour, that meets while I'm at Bible Study.
I saved enough to make each of the kids some binoculars. We colored them and put stickers on them and then we took a walk and enjoyed looking through them to see some awesome stuff. Peter spotted some moss that was peeking through some leaves on the ground, Aaron spotted whatever Peter saw, and Abigail just liked wearing them around her neck as an accessory.
It was lots of fun and kept the kids occupied all afternoon, between decorating and exploring!
We are having some unseasonably warm temperatures this week which is why, in the pics, the kids are in short sleeves and shorts. Today will be the last day of this sort of weather. Tomorrow the temp is expected to drop about 25 degrees. Wishing we could spend more time outside today, but Aaron is having high temps today, too. Maybe after nap we will sit outside for a bit and enjoy the sunshine!
