Last month we were at a wedding and Seth had steak juices (aka grease) spilled on his back on a brand new shirt. The groom said use blue dawn dish soap, so I let his shirt soak overnight that night and then I washed and dried it like normal. It worked at reducing how noticeable it was but it didn't get it out.
Now my dilemma was that I had dried the shirt, and in laundry terms that sets a stain really good, right? Wrong.
Here is another shirt (one of Peter's) that had a stain on it that was large and in charge. It was also a brand new shirt that he had worn to school only twice. Shame, I love this green.
Insert a Pinterest posting about getting out stains that had been through the dryer. I wasn't even looking for it but, alas, there it was!
In the picture above you can see I already began treating it with the baking soda. The white portion is where the baking soda is doing its job!
I then treated it with some oxi clean (per instructions from the tutorial) and then washed and dried it!
STAIN...BE GONE!!
Did the same thing to Seth's dress shirt and the same results!
