About a month after the big DTR talk that resulted in the official-ness of our dating, was my birthday. This was the first glimpse, a REVEALING if you will, into how thoughtful Seth would be at big occasions such as a birthday. (He hasn't disappointed yet!)
He set up a clue hunt that led to my gift. The clues were in places that were special to him or to me. In a book we had discussed or a DVD case we had recently watched. He put one (or two) in the common room where we met and so on. It was very carefully thought out and lovingly carried through. He was very patient with me when I didn't know the answer to the clue and guided me to where it was. Not only did I learn more about him but also about how we would work together as a couple. I loved how he put so much time into it and showed me how he would always work to make me happy; how he was patient with me and always will be. That first birthday together revealed a lot to me, if only in hindsight.
He also did a clue hunt for Valentine's Day and then again when he proposed!
Not sure on the time stamp on this one. But another great one of the two of us!
