Deer, Play, and a few thoughts...

While taking a walk the other day I noticed two of our three trees were rubbed against by deer. After talking with my Grandpa I decided to protect the trees with some drain tile until a more permanent fix can be put in place (i.e. a fence). Thankfully, my dad was able to help me get the tile in place.
These are special trees to us and represent the whole of our family.

We played/worked outside for quite a few hours today. We took a walk up to my parents (I was washing our bedding up there) and also picked up some twigs that came from a tree that fell a couple months ago into the snow. My grandpa moved the bulk of the tree with his tractor and left the twigs for the kids to pick up. They enjoy picking them up, too much, they even do it at my grandpa's house when they go.

We also enjoyed time on the bikes, playing in the sand, running all over, and watching the snow fence come down; the official signal to spring and the end of snow around our house. I'm so excited that the kids played so well. I even got stuff done around the outdoors. One project I'm working on is our front porch. I'm currently making some staples for the porch and will add little things for each season!

Some thoughts:

Way to go U of M making it into the Elite 8!
I'm tired to equals signs on FB!
My kids are growing...and eating everything in sight to prove they are!
