Readying myself for Spring Cleaning

I've chosen my first set of dates to start my Spring Cleaning, although there will be many hours before that I will be making lists and cleaning products and prepping the house.

Wait...prepping the house? Yes, prepping the house. That means I will make sure it is mostly clutter free from the everyday mess. This means getting into a routine of picking up toys, taking care of mail, getting the dishes cleaned, keeping things I just organized...organized. These things I should be doing everyday, but, time with my kiddos wins out (and so does catching up on TV shows at night!). Prepping the house will allow me to get down to the nitty gritty of cleaning and not tire myself out on routine things.

So, today, I made a Pinterest board dedicated to Spring/Fall Cleaning (because you should ready yourself for the winter, too, right?)

(click on the board title above to go to my Pinterest page)

This board includes lists, tips, and DIY cleaning supplies. Making this board is helping me think about all the stuff I might forget about if I didn't have lists; this includes cleaning the baseboard of the refrigerator, re-organizing my filing cabinet, and cleaning the tracks of the sliders and windows.

Have you made your lists yet? What's your favorite task (if there is one)?

I know that I just posted an Ask Away Saturday on this topic but I had to show you I was really attempting it this year. I really want to do this well...is that weird?
