The kids came back from my in-laws tonight after having a sleep over last night and playing all day today! It's always difficult to have the kids come back from a time with Grandma. I know they act differently better there, and I always hope they will come home and everything will be different -- they'll obey, they'll listen, they'll respect each other. But, nope, no such luck this time.
Bedtime has always been difficult. They always need to have one more drink, go pee one last time, get another book, or they forgot their baby. Aaron, tonight, did not fail at this repetitious demanding at bedtime.
Aaron: (screaming and crying) I want some milk...I want some milk
Me: Aaron, you don't get milk tonight.
Aaron: (continued screaming and crying)
Me: Did you guys scream and cry for milk at Grandma's house?
Abigail: No.
Me: Why not?
Abigail: Because Grandma not have any milk!
Duh...you're right Abigail! What a silly question! Everyone knows, even a three year old, that Grandma never has milk in her house...she doesn't like it, so she doesn't buy it!
