We hit the beginning of our summer vacation, which means the end of Peter's Preschool year.
It's been one crazy week getting there, too.
Monday was Muffins with Mom (aka Mother's Day Tea Party) at Peter's school. It was fun and included crafts and a snack along with a story. His teacher also took a picture of each mom and child, which on Tuesday was printed off, put in a frame and decorated.
Tuesday was shopping with Abigail and my mom. Abigail had never tried on clothes in a store, or even got a chance to go out and do girly things. She enjoyed this thoroughly and asked if she could "brought" everything! It was a great chance for me to see he without her brothers for an extended period of time. When she talked, she was the only one talking, and I listened...my ears were in heaven!
Wednesday included a field trip, babysitting my nephew, and a home visit from Peter's teacher (a requirement for the program he was in this past year). *More on the field trip in a later post* Aaron got bit by a bug of some sort - actually 3 bugs - and has massive swelling on his right eye and left knee. He's a reactor in all areas of his life!
Thursday, Peter's last day of Preschool *tear*sniffle*tear*. I'm so proud of him for all he overcame this year. He is a shy kid but was talking with friends, teachers, and even substitutes by the end of the year! He grew up, big time, which has Seth and I amazed. We have a Kindergartner! Taller, wiser, and a little more social!
First day Last Day
God is so good! I love what he has done with our kids these past eight months.
Summer is here and I am going to enjoy it! *Deep Breath, long relieved sigh*!!!
