Adventures in Gardening :: Watering System

Seth set up a watering system using this kit from Lowes.

We got it a few years ago and tried it out last year on our raspberries. It worked great but needed a few adjustments this year.
1) Seth installed a quick connect on the end of the hoses so there isn't all the turning to connect them together.
2) Last year we had constant dripping from our faucet which, because we have rust in our outdoor water, left water stains on some of the sprinklers and wood; so this year Seth installed a valve, of sorts, that doesn't allow constant dripping!
3) We also had to expand on it so that it would reach out to the vegetables!

We still have to work a little on the spacing as not all the raspberries get water. Thankfully,
the rain has been keeping up real nice for us, but not too much, that I have only had to turn on my watering system 3 or 4 times!

Since last week our green peppers have grown!! We now have 2 good size ones with the promise of many more! The cuke plants are growing nicely, too, and they are growing UP the trellis!

How to Better for Next Year: Reset the sprinklers and possibly do them underground {somehow}!

Next Week: SURPRISE!! {even to me :)}
