What a weekend it was! So much fun, outdoor play, family love, and just plain relaxation! The kids had tons of fun making Daddy his great big poster-board-folded-in-half-card for Father's Day {which included Aaron writing his own name for the very first time by himself}! I started Saturday with a headache but after taking my good meds I quickly turned around and enjoyed the rest of the day. Weeding the garden, wrapping Seth's Father's Day gift {which was his Saturday mail because he got that brand-spankin'-new lawn tractor}, and enjoying such nice weather when I thought it would be rainy! Corn on the Cob was loved by all for dinner {with pizza rolls}!
Sunday was great, too, as it wasn't only Father's Day but the kick-off to Seth's week long vacation! Time spent with family was such a blessing and way too much food was eaten all. day. long! I ended my weekend with a walk...ALONE...after the kids were in bed! I encountered a pretty freaky farm cat, a deer 50 yards (or closer) away from me, an awesome looking downed tree, and a beautifully sounding "waterfall"!
