Summer Reading Program

I signed the kids up for the local Libraries Summer Reading Program today. We went to the Library with my mom, sister, and nephew for Family Storytime. It was all about bugs! It was great to see the kids {somewhat} interacting with the songs, rhymes, and stories. There was a craft to make "crowns" with antennas on them to represent an insect!

The boys proudly display their antennas while Abigail was not as happy!

This is only the second time that we have done storytime at our library but it was great fun {and lots of work and chaos for mom}. We visited the outdoor garden afterwords where a new pirate ship was installed, child size of course. They also have hopscotch and a PVC pipe instrument.

I also signed myself up for the Adult Reading Program. For every four books I read I get my name in a drawing of my choosing! There's lots of great prizes! Nothing like awesome incentives for reading!
