The LOVE my children receive while at sports camp not only from Jesus but from the leaders and team captains was amazing to see! The volunteers at Sports Camp are AWESOME! They all love teaching the children with such a passion and energy. They care for them, help them cope with fears (Peter, thankfully, liked his team captain and Tyler was great! Peter wouldn't let me leave until Tyler was there because that's the only person he wanted to sit with and be by.) and teach them, through example, the Love of Christ! The twins got to attend for the first year and were loved on by their team captains as well {one of them was me, the other my best friend :)}!
Many kids made the choice to follow Christ this past week. There was a lot of money raised to help buy toilets in Guatemala. The kids had a huge dose of healthy competition. The Preschoolers (Aaron and Abigail's group) had some really great crafts and story time! Best of all, Jesus was celebrated!!
