Adventures in Gardening: Tomato Worms...Yuck!

It seems like it's been forever since my last gardening post!

Our garden continues to thrive as the raspberries are winding down, {hopefully I have enough to make jam with} the cucumbers are in full force and the tomatoes will be joining in the fun of flooding my fridge soon!

Tomato worms have arrived (thankfully, Seth is taking great care to pluck them off so our tomatoes hopefully grow without damage)! While we were away camping my parents helped take care of the garden! Friday night, due to the wind, they had to reset the cucumber trellis, as it flipped up and landed on top of the the tomato and green pepper plants! My garden is very crowded which is prompting changes for next year!

Any suggestions for keeping tomato worms away? I think they are so disgusting! We have lots of tomatoes that were thrown into the ditch because they were half eaten...YUCK! Thankfully, there are many left that are thriving! Any advice about tomato worms would be helpful!

I can't wait to make salsa as our tomatoes continue to grow and the green peppers and jalapenos are thriving! Mmmm...tasty homemade salsa!

Next Year: Make more boxes and bigger boxes! Everything gets their own box!

PS: Happy Anniversary to my Love! The past nine years have been beautiful! Thanks for loving me and our children! Can't wait for the many more years we have together!
