Montage Mondays: Camping

Camping with friends was a huge blast this past weekend! We went out to a new campground (only 2-3 years old) about 30 minutes east of where we live!

Tenting it is for sure a challenge, especially when the wind is blowing your tent around as you attempt to set it up! We finally got it up and secured (thanks to ratcheting straps) with it's rain cover and it started to pour! {No Leaks!} Went to the pool, got out of the pool as another storm passed, went back in the pool! An interesting first few hours camping! A storm came through as we settled in for the night and the humidity was ridiculous! Thankfully, Seth remembered the fan!

Saturday was a beautiful day and included lots of water play in the pool and on the huge inflatable water slide! We enjoyed dinner, ice cream, a wagon ride and a scavenger hunt! The wagon ride and scavenger hunt were set up by the campground and free of charge! After s'mores over the fire and some lightening bug collecting we put the kids to bed and enjoyed talking with our friends around the campfire {along with pizza in a pie iron}. Saturday night we froze as the temp went well below 60 degrees!

Sunday we left and enjoyed a lunch at our friends house!

Camping is great fun! We'll have to fix our tent, though. With all that wind the first day a pole bent and a seam ripped (very little).

We can't wait for this to be an annual thing with these great friends!

I was having so much fun I didn't get out my camera but once; I took three pictures and the batteries died. Batteries...the only thing I forgot!

Informative blogs, though are very rare, are always well accepted by the readers. Though only fraction will leave a comment, but they definitely share with their friends. Thank you for posting this point.

Every blog post makes a difference in some way, large or small, even if it only makes a difference in the life of the person who wrote it. If no one ends up reading a post, you still benefit from the experience of writing down your thoughts, similar to how you would in a diary. If others read your post, then they will be affected in a big or small way, depending on how relevant your message is to them. In short, you should definitely keep writing on your blog, as at the very least, it will benefit you to keep this up...
