First of all, sorry for not posting more. We have been very busy with getting Peter ready for school, parent meetings, ice cream socials, a surprise birthday party, and just soaking up the last of our summer!
Today, Peter got on the bus like a champ! I'm so thankful that the hours of praying helped him...and probably more me!
Yesterday, Peter and I went to school together to get acquainted with his classroom and teacher, and while he got a tour of the school I sat through, yet another, parent meeting!
We prepared him the best we could without making him nervous. All the activities that he took part in really helped him today, though. He knew what he was entering into, he hates uncertainty, so prep was good for him...but not too much, because then he would think I was freaking out (which I was a little)!
So, here's some pics of Peter off on his first day!
The twins and I are off to the Library for Storytime with friends who have a daughter in Peter's class!
PS: For those of you wondering, I teared up while I talked to Seth. Not because I was sad though, but because Peter did it and he did it well! I'm so thankful for any prayers my family and friends were sending up for him! I have no doubt he will do great this year!
