Last week (on our last 90* day of the year) Abigail and I made some delicious Potato Soup! Seth's request was potato soup he could eat, so after a bit of research and tweaking the recipe that looked the best I went to work on it. Abigail did a great job washing the potatoes, carrots, and celery. She also helped pour the veggie broth into the soup pot. (It was just Abi and I because Seth was on a half-day trip with Aaron to take the car to the shop and Peter was at school.)
Abigail will be going in for eye surgery on December 4 that will help her with her left eye that is turning in. (Duane's Syndrome) The surgeon will move one muscle back on the inside of the eye and the eye's top muscle will get moved to the top left of her left eye. Both these moves are an attempt to allow the eye to turn out more. Please be in prayer as we prepare for the surgery, for the surgery, and for after the surgery

Here is Abi just smiling at me while we waited for the soup to simmer.
Here she is just goofing around at Peter's first soccer game.
